The Kairiki has a new look and is now manufactured using the new VT construction method, which provides a smoother finish for longer casts.
The new-look Kairiki SX8 is now known as Kairiki 8 and is manufactured using the VT construction method, which is created by applying strong tension in opposite directions during the braiding process, giving the braided line a smoother finish and better sensitivity. The braided line is also less noisy thanks to the smoother finish, as it creates less friction between the rings, minimizing casting noise.
