Lowrance’s new flagship model HDS Live features a new flat design, faster processor, best built-in navigation capabilities, and supports new innovative sonar technologies. Its crystal clear and high-resolution display is easily visible even with polarized glasses. The new Active Imaging™ 3-in-1 transducer provides a detailed overview of bottom structures and allows using FishReveal™ technology to get an overview of where fish are located. Because on the structure scan image, the fishfinder simply colors them differently, making identification easier. StructureScan® 3D with Active Imaging, based on the previous 3D transducer, provides an even better 3D overview than before. The completely new LiveSight™ transducer, together with FishReveal technology, can also look forward and allows seeing how fish are positioned relative to bottom structures and how they react to the bait you present. The LiveSight transducer gives the angler a clear and real-time overview of which fishing method and bait work and which do not. Unfortunately, this transducer will only be available for sale in spring 2019. The 12″ HDS Live set includes the Active Imaging 3-in-1 transducer. The 12″ fishfinders also have an especially fast quad-core processor compared to smaller models, the ability to split the screen into six different views simultaneously, and display an image pulled from a smartphone on the screen, be it Google Maps, video, or television broadcast.
