The Kairiki SX8 with its new look is now known as Kairiki 8 and is manufactured using the VT construction method, which is created by applying strong tension in opposite directions during the braiding process, giving the braided line a smoother finish and better sensitivity. Thanks to the smoother finish, the line is also less noisy as it creates less friction between the rings, minimizing casting noise.
