Description
The Elite FS is the successor to the very popular Elite Ti2 series. That is, a fishfinder with a touch-sensitive screen that uses multi-frequency transducers and can “look” both under the boat and to the sides. It is distinguished from previous series by a significantly more powerful processor, which allows it to control more resource-intensive transducers (e.g., Active Target) and additional devices. It also has a bright screen comparable to the HDS Live, which can be zoomed with two fingers. An Ethernet port has been added, allowing information exchange with other screens. Also, one additional button whose quick function you can choose yourself. The Active Imaging™ 3-in-1 transducer included in the standard package provides a detailed and clear overview of bottom structures, and if you want to see moving images and look forward, purchase the new add-on block and versatile Active Target transducer (shown in the 3rd picture, not included in the package). With the built-in Genesis Live function, it is possible to quickly and easily create very accurate real-time maps of water bodies of interest. Genesis Live also allows adjusting map transparency, depth line density, depths, color palettes, etc. The Elite FS still has both WiFi and Bluetooth connections, can display call and message notifications from your smartphone, update software and maps, and can also handle controlling MotorGuide electric trolling motors. With a more angular design and visually, thanks to the brighter screen, the Elite FS is very similar to the HDS Live series fishfinders. This 9″ screen package includes the Active Imaging 3-in-1 transducer.
