Dissolve molasses with water in a 1:1 ratio, then moisten the bait with this solution. Thus, molasses gives a sweet taste, binds the mixture together, thereby slowing down its action, which is useful for catching bream and other large fish. If necessary, moisten the resulting mixture with water from the same body of water where you are fishing.
